For eight years now, the lead up to Christmas has been a matter of survival for us. With so many orders to get through, the extra staff, the lack of space and all the extra logistics, not much else seems to matter except ‘surviving Christmas’.
For the first time this year we finally have the right plans and resources in place to enable us to cope better. I can proudly say that everything is in control and everyone is not stressed out before Christmas comes around. For the very first time in 8 years I do think I’m starting to enjoy the silly season . . . sounds good to me!
For any of you that own your own gift basket business, I hope you get at least 1 season where all goes smooth. Who ever knows what turns up – the season isn’t over yet after all!!
